Department of Animal Genetics and Breeding

Our department teaches genetic principles, their application for livestock improvement, and Biostatistics and Computer Application to B.V.Sc. and A.H. degree students as per MSVE 2016 VCI guidelines. We also guide VLDD students following RAJUVAS, Hisar guidelines. Our facilities meet MSVE 2016 criteria, including a computer lab. Faculty members have published research papers in reputed journals, and we actively engage in teaching and extension for animal breeding and genetics. We share knowledge with farmers and stakeholders, supporting dairy industry growth.
