Department of Animal Nutrition

Our department educates B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree students following MSVE 2016 VCI guidelines and VLDD students based on LUVAS, Hisar guidelines. We meet MSVE 2016 criteria, providing essential facilities. Faculty members are highly qualified, specializing in novel feed resource development and enhancing straw's nutritional value. Our focus lies in teaching and researching animal nutrition.

We actively engage in extension activities, promoting safe feeding practices like urea utilization, by-pass protein and fat use, and balanced livestock and poultry nutrition. Our efforts aim to increase animal production and benefit farmers. Through village awareness initiatives and ration balancing education, we support dairy farmers in achieving optimal results.
